Colin Gillis
TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. -
There's still no sign of a missing teen from Tupper Lake.
Family, friends and community members gathered Tuesday night at the Saint Alphonsus Church for a candlelight vigil for Colin Gillis. The 18-year-old disappeared early Sunday morning after he left an underage drinking party.
Over the past two days, more than 500 volunteers have searched for Gillis.
"I don't know the kid, we came out to support the family, relatives," said Robert Colby of Tupper Lake, who attended the vigil. "We are all Adirondackers and we stick together during things like this. You have to have community support so the family knows that there are people out there who care."
Investigators are focusing their efforts Wednesday searching waterways in the area.
