MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -
The Dalai Lama is coming to Vermont.
The spiritual leader of Tibet and winner of the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize will give two lectures at Middlebury College in October.
The theme of his visit is "Cultivating Hope, Wisdom, and Compassion."
The Dalai Lama will give his first lecture to faculty, staff and students on Fri., Oct. 12. The second, on Oct. 13, is called "Finding Common Ground: Ethics for a Whole World" and it is open to the public.
Tickets will be available through the Middlebury College box office.
This will mark the Dalai Lama's third visit to Middlebury.
