Delta breast-feeding lawsuit settled

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A New Mexico woman kicked off her Delta flight from the Burlington Airport for breast-feeding will get a settlement.

Emily Gillette was flying out of Burlington in 2006 when a flight attendant told her to cover up while she breast-fed her 22-month-old prior to takeoff.

Gillettte refused and was kicked off the plane. She sued Delta, demanding more than $75,000. The airline has now agreed to a settlement.

Details of the deal have not been made public.
