SHAFTSBURY, Vt. (AP) - A Vermont man charged with burglarizing his parents' home is facing new charges that he took over $10,000 worth of jewelry from a neighbor.
Eric Lambert, 25, of Shaftsbury, was expected to be in court Monday on charges that he broke into his parents' home in January. He also was waiting to be arraigned on four other burglary charges from Bennington police and Vermont State Police.
The latest charges stem from a break-in in October. Lambert's neighbor was asked to watch his neighbor's apartment for the day while she was gone. The jewelry went missing during that time.
