BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A teenager accused of texting behind the wheel in a crash that left a woman seriously injured is now accused of underage drinking.

Police say Emma Vieira, 19, of Colchester, blew a .157 when police responded to a party in Burlington after a vandalism complaint.

Vieira is awaiting trial for gross negligent operation after she allegedly hit a woman walking her dog in Colchester last summer. Police say she was distracted because she was texting while driving.
