You probably saw a lot of "peeping" in Newport, New Hampshire this weekend.
The community held its first ever Peeps Diorama Contest at the Library Arts Center. Contestants used the marshmallow candy to make unique art work.
A total of 72 entries were submitted. There were three categories; child, family, and adult. Everything from Peeps s'mores to Peeps trophies were handed out to the winners.
"It really allows people to be creative without it having to be too serious. We have spaghetti and Peep balls, the Mona Peepsa. We have the Peep gods, the Peoples Choice Awards," said event organizer Fran Huot.
"I did an ice skating rink to show Newport," said contestant Alicia Dutton.
Event organizers say they had more contestants then expected this year so they hope to bring the event back to town next year.
