Man arrested for ashtray beating

ORLEANS, Vt. -

Police arrested an Orleans man Wednesday night after they say he severely beat someone with a wooden ashtray.

Brandon Carbo, 20, is charged with aggravated domestic assault.

The victim was flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

Police say the two were living together, but the victim's name and relationship to Carbo have not been released.
