Jim Yong Kim
WASHINGTON -
Dartmouth College President Jim Yong Kim will run the World Bank.
Kim was approved Monday by the World Bank board. He was nominated by President Obama at the White House back in March. Several nations waged an unsuccessful challenge to Kim, a physician and pioneer in treating HIV and tuberculosis in the developing world.
Kim starts his new job July first. No word on who will replace Kim at Dartmouth.
