Emotional plea to help Melissa Jenkins' son

Posted: Updated:
ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. -

People are showing support for Melissa Jenkins' son in a new video on YouTube.

Ty is Jenkins' 2-year-old son who was in the back seat of his mother's car and watched as she was abducted.

Allen and Patricia Prue are charged with her murder.

Vermonters have supported Ty since his mother was killed and now people from all over the world are reaching out to him. Pictures and messages of love for Ty have been made into a six-minute video. The song is called "Ty's Song."

The posting on YouTube says Ty's Song is meant to be a lullaby and a prayer for the boy. Visitors are asked to contribute to the Melissa Jenkins Memorial Fund which will benefit Ty.
