BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -
An ugly car crash forced police to shut down a busy road in Brattleboro for almost six hours.
It happened at about a 11:45 a.m. Wednesday on Route 30.
Two cars collided head on when police say 32-year-old Dustin North swerved into the other lane of traffic. Two people in the other vehicle were rushed to the hospital.
Police arrested North and have charged him with driving under the influence of drugs with serious injury resulting.
The victims' names have not been released.
