NORTHFIELD, Vt. -
The lacrosse playing sisters at Norwich have spent 2 years together for the Cadets. Playing 2 years apart is nothing new. After switching from softball to lacrosse, Mollie paved the way for Grace to enter the sport, that eventually landed them both at Norwich.
Senior Mollie, has netted 80 career goals with 30 assists. Sophomore sister Grace...103 goals in just her first 2 seasons as a Cadet. No doubt this pair has that sisterly instinct on their side.
Their success translates beyond the scoring column, and into the win column for the Cadets. Together the Fitzpatrick's have seen 2 GNAC conference titles and trips to the NCAA tournament. Mollie makes it 3 straight, winning the conference and going to the tourney her sohpomore year as well.
The last 2 trips to the NCAA's haven't resulted in wins, but that's something they've been working to change, hoping the third time's a charm.
