Fatal crash in Lyndon

LYNDON, Vt. -

A man was killed early this morning in a fatal crash in Lyndon.

It happened at around two o'clock.

Authorities say Timothy Goodhue drove off of brook road and into a small stream. The 23-year-old's body was found behind the wheel and submerged in the water.

A female passenger also suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say speed and alcohol were both factors in the crash.
