CAVENDISH, Vt. (AP) - Two brothers have been accused of a string of burglaries following investigations in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Police arrested 23-year-old Matthew Horton of Cavendish on Tuesday, saying he was involved in at least six burglaries in Windsor County, Vt., during February and March. Several of them happened at the Black River Produce building in the town of Cavendish. Over $10,000 worth of copper was taken.
Horton's brother, 24-year-old Mitchell Horton, was arrested in March in connection with the Windsor County burglaries. He had recently been arrested on a burglary charge in Claremont, N.H.
