Vt Treasurer Beth Pearce running for re-election

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Beth Pearce has been the Vermont treasurer for the last year and a half, but this will be her first election. After seven years as deputy treasurer, Pearce was appointed the new state treasurer in January of 2011 after incumbent Jeb Spaulding resigned to become the Secretary of Administration in the Shumlin Administration.

Now, Pearce is running for the post in her own right. She appeared on The :30 to talk about it. Watch the video for more.
