Construction worker injured in Orleans

ORLEANS, Vt. -

The off ramp at Exit 26 in Orleans was closed for several hours Thursday after a woman was run over by a dump truck.

Police say 44-year-old Kelly Conant of Milton was unhooking a trailer from her dump truck at a construction site when the truck started rolling. She tried to jump back in and it ended up running over her leg. She was airlifted to Fletcher Allen in Burlington with serious injuries.
