The heating technician attacked by a St. Johnsbury man last year, has returned to Danville.
Fifty-one year-old Mike Kuligoski has been recovering from his injuries for more than 15 months since the violent attack that nearly killed him.
Twenty-two year old Evan Rapoza has been charged in connection with the attack. Kuligoski was beaten with a metal wrench at Rapoza's St. Johnsbury home while trying to restart a furnace. The Caledonian Record reports that Kuligoski came back to Danville this week after spending more than a year undergoing medical care in three different states.
Rapoza has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and is being held at a mental health facility in Brattleboro.
