BURLINGTON, Vt. -
A former UVM hockey star is now suing the university.
Justin Milo was cut from the men's hockey team in back 2010.
Milo claims he was unfairly dismissed and that the decision deprived him of his scholarship, his reputation, and a promising career.
According to the Rutland Herald, UVM coach Kevin Sneddon told Milo he was being cut because of his attitude and a perceived lack of commitment to the team.
The 24-year-old is seeking unspecified damages, saying he lost thousands of dollars in financial aid.
