On Saturday, when Proctor's Alyssa Valerio squeezed the final out of the D4 State Title game, it meant a milestone for her and two of her teammates. Valerio, Brodie Langlois and Megan Carter were on three Phantom championship teams: soccer, basketball and now softball.
"Coming into this, I knew from soccer and basketball and I just wanted it so bad, because it's such a good feeling," Carter Said.
After Proctor beat Whitcomb 4-3 to win the state title, the Phantom "Triple Crown" winners put on homemade paper crowns signifying the their accomplishments.
