Vt actor landing roles in Hollywood

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

An actor who grew up in Burlington is making it in Hollywood.

Adam Grimes has landed roles in TV shows ranging from "The OC" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" to "CSI: Miami" and "NCIS: Los Angeles." He also recently played Lt. Commander Starbuck in "2010: Moby Dick."

Grimes is also part of a band called Vaud and the Villains.

He appeared on The :30 to talk about what he's been up to and what brought him back to town. Watch the video for more.

Grimes will be playing a show with the band at Club Metronome in Burlington on July 9 at 7 p.m.
