120 MPH attempt to elude

COLCHESTER, Vt. -

An Addison man is in trouble with the law after trying to outrun police on his motorcycle.

Police began pursuing 27-year-old Adam Leonard after he was clocked-- on Interstate 89 in Williston-- at 114 miles per hour. Police say speeds exceeded 120 miles per hour. The chase eventually ended in Colchester where police say Leonard ditched the bike and took off on foot. He is being lodged at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility for negligent operation, attempting to elude, and a furlough violation.
