Cookout turns violent in Winooski

WINOOSKI, Vt. -

A cookout turned violent Saturday in Winooski.

Police say Agwik Aguier, 28, stabbed someone after the two got into an argument Saturday night.

The 22-year-old victim was found bleeding in the street and is hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Aguier is now charged with aggravated assault. He was convicted in 2008 of disorderly conduct for fighting and has another assault case pending in court.
