Jason Anderson
BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Police in Burlington hope that an arrest Monday night could be the break they need in a burglary spree.
An alert resident spotted Jason Anderson, 36, of Burlington, walking around the intersection of Prospect Street and Crescent Road and called police. Police found a home had been broken into, and then Anderson ran out of the home. Cops caught up with him and say he had stolen items with him. Police are looking to see if he is connected the string of 25 break-ins in the Hill Section and South End over the last couple of weeks.
"We are attempting to piece together all the evidence we had acquired from investigating other burglaries in the area and are attempting to link that evidence to the suspect and to determine whether or not the suspect had anything to do with the other burglaries, " said Lt. Scott Davidson of the Burlington Police Department.
Anderson faces multiple charges.
