BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Vermont's Justin McQuiston has earned a very special honor by tapping into his creative side. The teen has Down syndrome, but he hasn't let it stop him from finding ways to express himself. Now, he's being honored for his artwork at the opening of a national art exhibit for kids of all abilities.

Justin and his dad, Tim, appeared on The :30 to talk about it. Watch the video for more.

Justin and his family will be in Washington, D.C., for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library Aug. 8. The All Kids Can Create art exhibit sponsored by CVS Caremark will be on display at the Library Aug. 1-26. Justin, 15, was one of two Vermonters who had a piece of artwork selected for the exhibition. The other is 11-year-old Shayanne Young from Randolph.

Shayanne and Justin are just two of 102 kids from around the country selected to be a part of the exhibit.
