LANCASTER, N.H. (AP) - Fellow hikers helped aid a 57-year-old man who fell about 20 feet down a Mount Washington trail.
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department says rescuers lowered a rope to Richard White of Weston, Mass. Conservation officers and Appalachian Mountain Club staff pulled him up on Wednesday afternoon.
White suffered a serious cut on his head. Hikers bandaged him and assisted in walking him to a medical crew.
