Collins staffer fired in Twitter trouble fallout

A staffer for Sen. Susan Collins was fired in the fallout from that Twitter trouble.

We told you Wednesday about a tweet from the Maine senator's office that said "Good ol' @SenSanders is always entertaining. Not a huge fan. I'll give him this, the genetically modified food label makes sense." It was only up for 55 seconds before it was deleted.

We asked Sen. Bernie Sanders for comment Wednesday. We still had not heard back when this story was published.
