Police say an alert resident helped them catch a crook.
Eric Petri, 23, of Jericho, is accused of breaking into five homes in Burlington's Hill Section over the last 24 hours.
A resident called the cops saying they spotted a suspicious person. And police say that led to Petri's arrest.
