Vt cancer survivors to compete in dragon boat championships

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The top 200 dragon boat teams in the world will compete next month in the World Cup Crew Dragon Boat Championships in China.

A Vermont team made the cut. It's a group of women who battled breast cancer, and then fought hard to get to the competition.

Channel 3 News Photographer Mark Clement caught up with the Dragonheart Vermont Sisters at one of their practices.
