Country star sends piano to Vt school

DUXBURY, Vt. -

After a surprise visit from rock star Grace Potter last week, Harwood Union High School got another surprise.

Country star Kenny Chesney sent the school's music department a white baby grand piano.

This was after Grace Potter honored her former music teacher, Di Phillips. Phillips retired after four decades on the job. Grace went to Harwood.

Grace is on tour with Kenny Chesney this summer. The two have become close friends. They had a conversation about teachers who had influenced them, and so he decided to donate the piano to the school.
