New president at the Green Mountain Club

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

The Green Mountain Club is getting a new president. The job will be filled by longtime volunteer Jean Haigh.

The 102-year-old club manages the Long Trail, which runs from Massachusetts to the Canada border.

Haigh, a Rutland native who taught for many years at Johnson State College, appeared on The :30 to talk about her new role at the club. Watch the video for more.
