Killington teen injured in crash

NEW HAVEN, Vt. -

A teenager from Killington was critically injured after crashing into a barn.

It happened Saturday afternoon on Route 7 in New Haven.  Police say 19-year-old Katherine Hone was traveling south when she crossed the road and collided with a large barn. Hone needed to be extricated from the SUV by first responders.  She was then taken Fletcher Allen Health Care. 

Police say it does not appear speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Anyone who witnessed the crash are asked to contact police.
