Woman accused of assaulting sister, driving drunk

VERNON, Vt. -

Police say a Guilford woman attacked her sister and then drove drunk with her own child in the car.

It happened last Friday.

Jill Morse allegedly broke into her sister's house in Vernon, punched and kicked her, and then took off.

When authorities caught up with the 40-year-old they say her 3-year-old child was naked in the car. She also allegedly fought the officer trying to arrest her.

Morse is now facing multiple charges including DUI, child cruelty, and with resisting arrest.
