Pedestrian hit by cab near Burlington Airport

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -

A pedestrian is in the hospital after he was hit by a car early Monday morning in South Burlington.

It happened just after 4 a.m. on Airport Drive in front of the Burlington Airport.

Police say a Benway's Taxi hit a pedestrian walking along the side of the road.

The man was taken to Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington with serious injuries, but is in stable condition at this time.
