NY teen killed in crash identified

ELIZABETHTOWN, N.Y. -

Police have released the name of a New York teen killed in a car crash this weekend.

It happened just before 10 p.m. Saturday on the Lincoln Pond Road in Elizabethtown.

State police say Keith Denton, 19, of Elizabethtown, was driving north when his car went off the road, overturned, and struck a tree.

A passenger, Nicole Baker, 18, of Standish, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Another teen was also taken to the hospital.

Police say excessive speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
