MONTPELIER, Vt. -
The nation is watching the Supreme Court this week waiting for an expected ruling on the constitutionality of the president's health care reforms.
That ruling did not come down Monday morning and is now expected Thursday.
The high court could uphold the health care law, strike it down entirely or target only certain aspects of the law, like the provision that requires all Americans to purchase health insurance.
The outcome will obviously impact Vermont's even more aggressive health care reform efforts, with Gov. Peter Shumlin's ultimate goal of a single-payer health system. Shumlin says no matter the outcome of the national case, Vermont will continue with its push for reform.
