KILLINGTON, Vt. -
A skiing liability lawsuit against the
Killington resort has been settled.
Alfred Rocks, 53, of New Jersey, sued
the resort in connection with a skiing accident three years ago in which he
broke his leg in several places. Rocks claimed the conditions on the trail were
unsafe.
On the second day of the trial, the
resort and the skier reached an out of court settlement. No details were made
public. A spokeswoman for Killington would only say that the case had been
resolved and the terms are confidential.
