Williston police try to ID boy in apparent accidental shooting

WILLISTON, Vt. -

Williston police will be out scouring the Meadow Run neighborhood Tuesday night asking residents for help.

Police say a woman in her mid-50s was shot in the face with what may have been a pellet gun by an approximately 10-year-old boy. Police say they believe the shooting was accidental. They're hoping neighbors will help them identify the boy and speak to neighbors about firearms safety.
