BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Gas prices continue to go down. The prices have been dropping for three straight months, but the fall has not been as fast in Vermont as elsewhere.
According to VermontGasPrices.com, the average price statewide is $3.58 a gallon.
The national average is now $3.43 a gallon.
The most expensive gas in Vermont is in Eden, where people are paying $3.75 a gallon. The cheapest is just about 20 miles away in Jay, where it is 44 cents lower at $3.31 a gallon.
