RUTLAND, Vt. -

A former Vermont state trooper was caught driving without a license.

Joshua Lemieux, 39, was arrested in Rutland in 2010 for driving drunk while off duty.

He resigned from the force shortly after his arrest and his license was suspended.

But police say they caught Lemieux back behind the wheel this past December.

Tuesday he pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and was fined $300.
