More communities to get broadband Internet

TOPSHAM, Vt. -

Several more Vermont communities are getting broadband internet.

The Vermont Telecommunications authority has announced a $378,000 grant to bring service to parts of Topsham and Bradford.

And officials say several similar grant awards will be made in the coming months.

Gov. Peter Shumlin has promised that all Vermont communities will have broadband coverage by the end of 2013.
