Power outages expected in region

TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. -

Tupper Lake residents were expected to lose power for several hours Thursday morning.

Utility workers are doing some upgrades and needed to cut service to parts of the village. The outage started at 7:30 a.m. and was expected to last about two hours.

In Vermont, about 800 Woodstock and Bridgewater CVPS customers will lose power from 11 p.m. Thursday until 1 a.m. Friday while the utility cuts some trees near power lines.
