Vt man pleads not guilty to Calif murder

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. -

A Vermont man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a murder in California.

Robert Lee, 26, was arrested last November in Brattleboro.

He had been working at the C&S Grocers Warehouse and was wanted in California for a homicide and robbery back in 2008.

Police say Lee helped another man kill Reetpaul Rana, 35, after agreeing to sell him a large amount of marijuana.

A trial is scheduled to begin in September.
