EAST MONTPELIER, Vt. -
A school bus driver and custodian accused of propositioning a 14-year-old boy has permission from a judge to leave the state.
Russell Douse, 54, of East Montpelier, worked at Twinfield Union until March, when the complaint was registered.
Douse was suspended and later fired.
On Thursday, he pled not guilty to charges of attempting to lure a child. The judge released him from jail on $10,000 bond and gave him permission to leave the state for his job as a driver for Bellavance Trucking.
