
His rookie year he played cornerback. Last season it was safety. Devin McCourty hasn't really found his place in the New England Patriots backfield. But at least this weekend, McCourty's place is in Vermont.
The former pro bowl defensive back is in Colchester this weekend running his own football camp. Day one runs until 8pm Friday, with the second session Saturday from 9am to noon. One of McCourty's representatives is from South Burlington and is good friends with Colchester high football coach, Tom Perry. The two talked about holding a camp involving a pro player. McCourty jumped at the chance for the opportunity to speak to young players and visit the area.
