Police investigate fatal hit and run

JOHNSON, Vt. -

A hit and run in Johnson killed a New Hampshire man.

The accident happened Saturday afternoon on Route 15, about three miles west of Hyde Park. According to the Lamoille County Sheriff, a green Subaru collided the Berlin New Hampshire man, who was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The car, according to the Sheriff, then fled the scene. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. His name has not been released pending family notification. Route 15 was shut down for about 3 hours as police investigated the accident.

According to the Sheriff-- the green Subaru HAS been located and the two people, who police believe were in the car at the time of the accident, have been interviewed. The investigation is ongoing.
