LATHAM, N.Y. -
A funeral is planned for Tuesday for a young New York girl killed in a bizarre miniature golfing accident.
Ashton Jojo, 11, was electrocuted last Wednesday when she reached into a pond to retrieve her ball at a mini-golf course in Celebration, Fla.
Investigators believe electrical breakers in the water may have been improperly installed, causing the water to become electrically charged.
Ashton called Latham, N.Y., home. Her mother is from Plattsburgh.
The family was in Florida celebrating Ashton's 11th birthday.
