4 cited for drag racing on Interstate 89

COLCHESTER, Vt. -

Police say they caught four people drag racing on Interstate 89 in Colchester.

It happened shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday. Police say Tyler Griffiths, 26, of Williston, Charles Bosley, 28, of Essex Jct., Eric Hazen, 22, of Colchester, and Carolyn Anderson, 20, of Colchester, were racing and speeding southbound near exit 16.

All four were ticketed and released.

Vermont State police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the vehicles speeding. You can call police at 802-878-7111.
