Jail time for stabbing over water use

LUDLOW, Vt. -

A Ludlow man is headed to prison for stabbing his neighbor last summer.

Brian Butler, 54, will spend 18 months behind bars.

Butler pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated assault charges as part of a plea agreement.

According to the Rutland Herald, Butler stabbed Thomas Beckham after getting into an argument about whether Beckham was using too much water.
