Winhall Police and Rescue adds paramedics

WINHALL, Vt. -

Winhall Police and Rescue now has two paramedics and another officer is expected to get certified within a year.

That makes Winhall one of three licensed paramedic first response squads in Vermont.

The process of upgrading the level of medical response has taken about two years.
