A Vermonter is vying for a half million dollars when the new season of "Big Brother" debuts next week on CBS.
A dozen contestants live together in a house and every move is recorded. The reality show has a big following each summer and the contest lasts about three months.
This season, Shane Meaney, 26, of Bennington, is one of the contestants. He renovates and sells homes for a living, and is a graduate of Lyndon State. The new season of "Big Brother" starts next Thursday night.
