BENNINGTON, Vt. -
Police say 13 handguns were stolen
from a gun shop in Bennington.
It happened just before 3 a.m. Friday
at Charlie Wells Gun Store on Northside Drive. Police responded to an alarm
activation and found the glass front door smashed and a handgun case broken
into with numerous weapons missing.
Surveillance cameras captured pictures
of a lone man in a blue hooded sweatshirt and black pants making off with the
guns in a gray duffel bag. The guns include both revolvers and semi-automatics
with a value of about $8,500.
The
stolen handguns are:

& Wesson model 500 revolver, with a 4" barrel
- (1) Smith
& Wesson model 500 revolver, with a 6 1/2" barrel
- (1)
Taurus Model 992 combination revolver, .22 caliber
- (1)
Taurus Model 454 Casull 5-shot revolver with a 6 1/2" barrel
- (1)
Taurus Model PT845, .45 ACP caliber semi-auto pistol
- (1)
Taurus Model Tracker revolver .17 caliber
- (1)
Charter Arms Lavender Lady .38 caliber snub-nose revolver
